AussieRob Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 Hi guys,We're looking for some cheap accommodation for a trip to wine country - seems pretty expensive because it's the weekend. We're looking at two hotels in the American Canyon/Vallejo on Hotwire and am just wondering if anyone can ID them positively (seems like a few options). We'd actually prefer the Holiday Inn Express2* $59 with the following amenities (seems like a dive with 2.5 TA rating);Complimentary BreakfastFitness CenterPool(s)Business CenterLaundry FacilitiesHigh-speed Internet Access3* for $67 with the following amenities (4.5 TA rating with nothing matching with 100+ reviews :) );Complimentary BreakfastFitness CenterPool(s)Business CenterHigh-speed Internet AccessGolf NearbyTennis NearbyCheers
AaronJB Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 Unfortunately, neither property has been ID'd/reported to the board. The # of reviews (for example, 100+) that you are seeing are the amount of HOTWIRE reviews. My guess is that the 3* may be the HI Express, and that the 2.5* may be something like the Hojo Vallejo. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
GINN123 Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 I just bid on this on HOTWIRE for $69(82.63 after taxes and fees) and it was the Holiday Inn express in Napa-American Canyon. Its a bit out of Vallejo but I think its a good rate for the property. On their own website, the cheapest rate is $112.

AussieRob Posted May 26, 2010 Author Report Posted May 26, 2010 We just booked direct and got a good rate with a discount code - nearly new property, can recommend staying here when things are very overpriced in Napa. Thanks for your help.
