I tried to extend a night at the Hilton with no success, so began bidding right away for a hotel. Began at $65.00; free rebids in $5.00 increments; got the Marriott at $75.00.

A good example, I think, of how quickly inventory changes (read my prior topic). Just 10 minutes ago, $5.00 for a 4* was refused
