Priceline Hotel: Saskatoon??

That just means that no hotels in Saskatoon are either able or willing to work with Hotwire.

As to what hotels in Saskatoon work with Priceline - if there are no listings for it, you have to make educated guesses. Take a look at what Expedia offers. There's a good chance that one or more of those may be the hotels that show up on Priceline.

Have you looked at the zone map for Saskatoon, if there is one, on Priceline?

On a related note... one of the big hotel chains (Holiday Inn perhaps?) recently pulled out of Expedia, so hotels from that chain may be in the area but no listed thru Expedia.

I'll try to remember to double check my notes later when i have time to see which chain it was.

If your plans are firm you may also want to turn this post into your actual dates and what type of property (price, star level, etc) you are seeking... many here know of many 'niche' travel sites that may be able to get you a deal in the area that you weren't aware of.

Sadly there is no zone map for the saskatoon hotels on priceline... any idea what that means?

Thanks so much for your help, my dates are not written in stone yet... I'll keep you posted!

I'm also trying to get onto Expedia to see what hotels they have, but sadly...grrr...the site is not loading for me, I'll keep trying! Thanks for the tips :)

I wrote to Priceline a while back to ask what it means if there's no zone map. What it means that any hotel that has "Saskatoon" as the city address is a possibility. I'm not sure how large the Saskatoon catchment area is, but with some places this could mean you could get a hotel 10 or 20 miles out of town or so. How is Saskatoon set up?

I know this is a little outdated but last spring in April 2-4th 2008 I booked a hotel room threw Hotwire in Saskatoon which ended up being the 2.5 star Super 8 Motel Saskatoon 706 Circle Drive East, Saskatoon SK S7K 3T7

I was thrown off by their amenities somehow but I'm sorry I can't even remember what they listed. It is a nice hotel, I just paid too much. I just thought I would tell you this now so you know what you might be bidding for in Saskatoon.

I was new at this so didn't report it to this board. I was not happy because I paid more than their own website price of about $12.00 per night. I phoned HOTWIRE and I have a credit sitting there.

saskcruiser,

Can you see if the amenities and other information is still available in your HOTWIRE profile... you can access this area by going to the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right corner of HOTWIRE's homepage and the amenities associated with this property may still be listed there.

Thanks.
