Priceline vs Hotwire

What are the fee differences between using Priceline and Hotwire. For example, if I booked a room that is going for $50, with fees and taxes added...would I pay more using Priceline and Hotwire, and if so, how much more?

I am trying to use Hotwire's rates as a gauge for bidding on Priceline.

The combined service fees and taxes are variable, but may be higher on Hotwire more often. The best way to tell, though, is to click through a couple screens until you get the total. That's the only way to tell for sure.

I have done that for Hotwire, but what about Priceline? Do they charge a handling fee per booking?

You can see the total fee on Priceline if you proceed to the screen where they ask for your credit card (but you don't have to enter it to see the total).
