Welcome!

If you want an oceanfront hotel, you might want to check out HOTWIRE as this is an amenity that might be displayed in your search. If you want an oceanfront room, you should contact the hotel directly. I would not use PRICELINE as you could end up with a hotel located anywhere within the shaded zone that you've selected.

Rooms booked through PRICELINE and HOTWIRE are "run of the house" and upgrades are at the discretion of management.

Good Luck and let us know what you end up with. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to conduct your searches and purchases.

Depending upon the area, booking an oceanfront room direct can cost you $100+ more per nite... so it basically comes down to if having such a room is worth the additional cost. For some it may be... for others they'll hope for the best, try to upgrade (even for a fee) at the hotel upon arrival, or use the savings to treat themselves to something special on their vacation to make the trip memorable.

But i agree with you, if an oceanfront room is a must have (vs. a want), then PRICELINE and PRICELINE or probably not the best options for this trip.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. (or check the links in our support page if you choose to book direct or turn a non-opaque source)

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
