3kids Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Was trying to stay at one of these two on 4/5-4/8. I have not seen any messages regarding these hotels. Anybody know of any successes with these hotels on either priceline or Hotwire?Thank you.
3kids Posted March 27, 2010 Author Report Posted March 27, 2010 Just won the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel for 4/5-4/6 for $147/night on PRICELINE. Initially bid $125 and they asked for $22 more to retry. This is listed at $269/night so feel pretty good about it.

Colfax Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Congratulations, 3kids.You're the first to report winning a 4* in Santa Monica-Marina del Rey since Priceline brought back the 4* bidding option there, over a year ago. Others have reported bidding as high as $200 for a 4* in that zone, iirc, and still come up dry.Santa Monica Beach Hotel is in the Hotel List but I don't think it's been reported here in several years.
