Hotwire Hotel: Recommendations S. Cal romantic getaway PL/HT hotels?

Hi all,

I'm looking for suggestions of best (priceline/hotwire) hotels for a overnight getaway from LA.

I'd like to find the southern California equivalent of the Sonoma Renaissance Lodge, which is the only (known) PL 4* in its zone and has fireplaces and spa tubs in all rooms.

I you know of any So. Cal PL/HW hotels with spa tubs in all rooms (and thus guaranteed to PL/HW users), that would be very useful information.

Otherwise, I appreciate your recommendations for locations not TOO far from LA. Perhaps Santa Barbara to North Coastal San Diego County (at the furthest).

We have a general preference for coastal, but appreciate any recommendations of nice inland spots.
