traveljunkie
Started yesterday with 4* downtown @ $72. Used 5 free-rebids and went up to $85. No luckToday I started with 4* CC-CH @ $65. Used 4 rebids and got the Hyatt for $80. I was hesitant about bidding for this area because of the reported lack of restaurants and shopping once the businesses are closed. But I love the idea that the metro is right in the building and we can get around the city...which the kids will be very excited about. The rate on Hyatts website is $219! :) Thanks for this site! I used the Savingsbarn web but I guess you don't get credit since there's no direct link? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Thank you for sharing your results with the board and for using the links at SavingsBarn.comDo you recall the amount of your bid before you were accepted at $85 $80? (it doesn't seem that you went up in $5 increments so i'm not sure if it was $75 or not)Looks like a super deal at more than half off!Enjoy your stay. traveljunkie
I have it all written down. I had no real pattern. There were two bids different zones (the winning one was $80, not $85)4* downtown was: $72, 75, 77, 80, 82 & 85 rejected. I was out of rebids started over with new bid-4* convention center: $65, 70, 75, 78, with $80 winningDoes this make sense? Hope it helps someone else. Link to comment
