Bidding starting at $50 going up to 62. Today started with Cupertino at $50 -rejectedadded Mountain View (no 3* there) at $55- rejectedStarted new bidSunnyvale 3* at $55, got the "raise your bid by $15" windowadded Cupertino at $61 and got Residence Inn Silicon Valley I - lowest rate is $179 on their website, so a good deal. Colfax Posted March 22, 2010 Report Share Posted March 22, 2010 There are two different Residence Inns in Sunnyvale with almost identical names:Residence Inn Sunnyvale-Silicon Valley #1 (750 Lakeway Drive)Residence Inn Sunnyvale-Silicon Valley #2 (1080 Stewart)It's odd that Marriott named them #1 and #2 as it's a little confusing. Usually they'd call them "North" and "South", or something else more descriptive.Previous posters didn't comment which RI they won, but maybe a note could be added to the Hotel List that this is RI #1 on Lakeway.Thanks for the report, traceyn.
