Priceline Hotel: 3* San Jose (Sunnyvale-Santa Clara) Residence Inn Lakeway Drive

Been trying to bid on 3* in Sunnyvale/Santa Clara and/or Cupertino/Campbell area for a few days no with no luck. Bidding starting at $50 going up to 62.

Today started with Cupertino at $50 -rejected

added Mountain View (no 3* there) at $55- rejected

Started new bid

Sunnyvale 3* at $55, got the "raise your bid by $15" window

added Cupertino at $61 and got Residence Inn Silicon Valley I - lowest rate is $179 on their website, so a good deal. Reviews seem mostly positive.

There are two different Residence Inns in Sunnyvale with almost identical names:

Residence Inn Sunnyvale-Silicon Valley #1 (750 Lakeway Drive)

Residence Inn Sunnyvale-Silicon Valley #2 (1080 Stewart)

It's odd that Marriott named them #1 and #2 as it's a little confusing. Usually they'd call them "North" and "South", or something else more descriptive.

Previous posters didn't comment which RI they won, but maybe a note could be added to the Hotel List that this is RI #1 on Lakeway.

Thanks for pointing out the two different properties in this zone.

I've added the street to the topic title to indicate the specific property so we'll be 'covered' if/when Marriott changes the official names in order to differentiate between the two properties.
