The one time I stayed at WSF on Priceline I got a small room with no view, with an offer to upgrade for a fee. But others have reported getting larger rooms and even two bed rooms with no upgrade fee. I think what happens depends in part on how busy the hotel is, or which reservation agent you get.

When I stayed there last September, the date of the check-in was my birthday. They noticed that on my ID, and I asked them if there was any way possible to get a nicer room. They actually put me in a high corner unit with a beautiful view of the city.

Never hurts to ask! I have found the service at this hotel to be outstanding.
