mngo4322
i saw all hotel listing except for "upper napa" which includes st. helena, yountville, and calistoga? Link to comment
thereuare
This zone has recently been sub-divided and we haven't yet reclassified all the hotels on this zone. The Napa Valley Lodge would be at least one possibility in this zone. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. Gallus50
Since no hotels have been reported, I would check Expedia for your dates to get an idea of what hotels are considered to be 2.5 stars. Since Expedia is a sister site to HOTWIRE and does their vacation packages, I always presume their ratings will align, and they usually do. Then you'd have an idea about the possibilities. thereuare
Although Expedia and HOTWIRE have the same parent company, i've found their star ratings to be different frequently enough not to assume they're the same. Also, the above is a new PRICELINE zone, which doesn't necessarily correlate to HOTWIRE's star ratings. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
Gallus50
Oooops, I forgot we were talking about PRICELINE here. Never mind. I think there's a good chance one hotel seen on PRICELINE and HOTWIRE might be the Clarion Collection Lodge at Calistoga. Link to comment
mngo4322
priceline now has an option where you can see the winning bid of the hotel and purchase it. can anyone help me identify the following hotel:4* sonoma areawinning bid $1134/10-4/111 adult * Remote Control TV with Premium Channels * Telephone with Voicemail * Radio Alarm Clock * Iron and Ironing Board * Hairdryer * Business Services * 24 Hour Front Desk * Full Service Restaurant * Room Service * Bellman * Concierge * Fitness Center Access Link to comment
yellowdog
No, this is just the "standard" amenities you can see when you get a confirmation from PRICELINE. We can't ID PRICELINE hotels this way.You have to go with HOTWIRE. Please look at HOTWIRE and list the amenties HOTWIRE associates with the hotel and we'll have a look at it.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog. zz503
If you look at the priceline hotel list, you'll see only one 4* listed for Napa-Sonoma (Sonoma), i.e., the city of Sonoma zone. Most likely if you bid on 4* there and win, it will be the Renaissance Lodge. It's a nice place. I've bid in that zone specifically to get that hotel. It has big spa-style tubs in the room and fireplaces. Link to comment
