Please help me ID the following hotel in the Los Angeles (Glendale-Burbank-Universal City) area:

Smoke free

Fitness

Restaurant

Hi-speed Internet

$99.00 (recommended by 80% of reviewers)

Is this the Hilton Glendale? (ammenities didn't include golf)

Or is it more likely to be the Sheraton Universal? (all the amenities fit perfectly except you've removed smoke free on your list and it was stated here)

Any help you can give is greatly appreciated as I am really hoping for the Sheraton Universal. Many thanks!

My guess is that this may be the Sheraton Universal, and the tripadvisor rating on the detail page would also be a match. I'm seeing this for $188 on HOTWIRE though, and it's $165 on Orbitz for this date (plus coupon code orbitzdeal5 takes another 5% off.)

Ok, now it's gone. Darn! Do they ever take hotels off one day and put them back on the next?

I should've taken it. Now, they (probably) have The Hilton Glendale listed for $108.00 (it has the added golf amenity). I need to be near the CityWalk.

Sometimes hotels appear, disappear, and then re-appear... but unfortunately with your stay just 2 days away you don't have much time to wait for this to happen.

Thanks for your help. I did check Hotwire (accessed through your link here on Better Bidding) and noticed that they put the same hotel description I was interested in from yesterday back up for sale. So luckily for me, I took my chance this time and ended up with The Sheraton Universal for one night 3/7/10 for $99.00. Thanks for helping me confirm the ID on this property.

I missed my initial opportunity to get this property yesterday because it disappeared from the available listings from Hotwire last night. But, much to my surprise...it re-appeared this morning. I ended up with exactly what I hoped for.
