Hi, I've used HOTWIRE plenty of times but this would be my first time trying PRICELINE. And have a few questions before I proceed...

1) Is it too late to book for a room for this Thursday (3 days from today)?

2) In the case that my bid fail, I could add in Stony Plain since there's no hotels available in that zone, is that correct?

No, it's not too later to bid.

No, you can't add Stony Plain... since there are no hotels currently available in this zone, it's "greyed out" and not selectable.

What are the full dates of your stay? What star rating are you seeking? What is your maximum bid?

Looking for March 4-5 of this week. Maximum bid willing to go up to 60. Looking for minimum 3*.

So in the case that I can't add Stony Plain, my only option is to adjust the star rating or the price?

Thanks for the help. No luck so far. I've bid up to $60 for a 3* in the Edmonton and Edmonton International Airport Area and still no offer.

If you've bid up to your maximum not much else you can do other than wait it out and try again tomorrow.

Do you have a back-up plan should you not success in the next 2 days?

I raised it to $70 and still nothing, ended up redeeming points for my 1-night stay in Edmonton.

Sometimes you have to just keep trying. I kept getting refused but then just yesterday got the Westin (4*) for $65 for Apr 1 and 2.
