I probably could have won a 3* on PRICELINE in the $40's--maybe even the Staybridge--but I really wanted the suite amenities this trip and was willing to pay extra for them.

HOTWIRE was also displaying the Embassy Suites in SFO North for a few dollars more than Staybridge and I considered trying ES, as I've never stayed there and I've heard good things.

Ultimately Staybridge's free parking and familiar location won out.

The last two times I stayed at Staybridge on PRICELINE they were out of one-bedroom suites and gave me a two-bedroom suite. (three TVs, three phones, two full bathrooms). This time I had to settle for just one bedroom.
