Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Kauai (Princeville) Westin Princeville Ocean Villas

I bid $110 and was prompted to add $22 more dollars.

I tried adding $5 and it told me I HAD to add $22 more dollars.

I tried adding $10 and it was adamant that I needed to add

the $22. There was no other option. I've heard of others

who have received "counter-offers" but this message

was rather insistent.

However, I know that $132 per night is an excellent deal for this

property. HOTWIRE had it listed at $139, and I definitely wanted

it, so decided to go for the $132. Total for 9 nights with taxes: $1,365

Princeville is a beautiful area. Haven't been there for 12 years, but

am greatly looking forward to it.

I used your PRICELINE link and also your link for Hawaiian air when I booked our airline tickets,

and also used your HOTWIRE link when booking our car.

Dear Moderator,

Please change the heading from Maui to KAUAI. I put Kauai. You guys changed it to Maui. That is wrong. That could mislead a lot of people.

I won the Westin Ocean Villas Princeville for the Garden Isle of Kauai.

Although Westin has villas in Kaanapali area of Maui, that is not where we are going

on vacation.

Also, you have it listed incorrectly under the hotels section. There is no such

thing as Princeville area in Maui. Princeville only exists in the northern

section of Kauai. I am positive, having been there 3 times before already,

so you'll want to amend your hotel listings and list Westin Ocean Villas Princeville

under the island of Kauai, not Maui.
