MJRBIM
The ESRI Federal User Conference is in Washington, D.C. in early February - I have been bidding for a 2.5* hotel in any of the D.C. area PL zones for one-night (Feb. 02) up to $55 US with no luck.I'm in the middle of a 72 hour lock-out right now, but since I'm flying in and out of IAD - I'm wondering about staying by the airport and driving in.Anyone know what the drive-time is from IAD to the DC Convention Center on a weekday morning....?Thanks in advance! fwfdan
Don't do it... Unless you are staying AT the airport (the Marriott Dulles) you will need to take the Dulles Toll Road (instead of the Dulles access road) - and the commute will be awful (more than one of you, you will be able to use toll lanes and Rt 66 inside the beltway, but if only you - it will not be good). I would allow about an hour and a half to make the trip. Link to comment
fwfdan
Missed the "one night" item - not quite as bad as every day, and since you are returning to the airport you will be able to use Rt 66 and the access road on your retrun to the airport.... Just allow plenty of time in the morning. Link to comment

New PL cities are always a challenge.I figured if I was going to bid upwards of $75 for a 2.5*, I might as well start bidding at the 4* level...and looks like I bagged a good one near the convention center.___________________(One-Night)1st Bid - 4* Cov.
