Colfax
I just tried Add a Night for 1/29 and Priceline wouldn't let me submit my request. When I clicked the "Extend Your Stay" link on my confirmation page I got this message:"We're sorry. Unfortunately, we are not able to add nights to reservations at the Marriott Los Angeles Downtown."This wasn't in response to a specific request I'd submitted. I wasn't allowed to submit a request. It sounds like this Marriott may have a blanket policy against giving Add a Night extensions. Link to comment
Colfax
I ended up bidding for 1/29 and won the Millenium Biltmore, posted separately.A word about parking. It's $30 at Marriott, valet only. Directly across Figueroa Street from the Marriott is the World Trade Center garage where you can park 24 hours for $9.95 IF you arrive after 4:30 pm, M-F. An overpass connects the garage and Marriott so you don't have to cross busy Figueroa at street level.Arriving before 4:30 pm M-F the rate jumps to $36 for 24 hours--more than Marriott's valet charge. On weekends the WTC garage is $9.95 for 24 hours whenever you arrive.
