You can't beat the location, right on the Gaslamp Quarter, and some of the antique items like the birdcage elevator, original woodwork, and pulley chains on the windows were very cool, but it is a very old hotel that has been "redecorated". Our room had uneven floors that you could feel through the carpet, and the windows and windowsills left a lot to be desired from a cleanliness standpoint. Link to comment
