Priceline Hotel: 4* hotels in Miami beach/south beach

Hi,

I will be travelling with my girlfriend to Miami between 9th of March to the 27th of march. I have already won two bids on Price line (this is the www.priceline.com.hk site, since I am not an american citizen and live in Germany I can not use the www.priceline.com site.)

They were a little bit too high but seemed ok.

177$ (1375 HK $) Sheraton Bal Harbour

9th-12th March

and

15th-18th March

I still would like to fill the dates from 18th to the 27th of March with hotels in Miami area preferably in south beach but also Miami beach is ok. It seems to me that spring break is during that time and that is the reason for the high winning bid.

Could anyone please let me know if there is a way to get a good deal from price line or hotwire. I would like to limit the cost a little.

Have you considered renting a condomium for part of your stay??

How high have you already bid for the other nites? (and for what dates did you bid... the entire stay?) How high are you willing to bid?

Are you willing to split this stay again? If so, how many times? Do you hae a back-up hotel?

Hi,

I only have between 21st to the 27th left to bid for. When I bid for 4 star I have to put in maximum 3 nights and then 1280 HD and then I will get Sheraton Bal Harbour. I have tried millions of other options and this is the cheapiest I have encountered. I tried making an offer for a longer time, between 15th to the 27th but I had to go higher then 1280 HD since I noticed the hotels dont want low bids on long stays.

I can continue from the 21st to 24th and 24th to 27th and bid 1280 HD each time and I will get Sheraton Bal Harbour. I just wanted to know if there is another way of getting a cheaper 4 start hotel. Since the Honk Kong site does not have as many search option (does not have resort option) to choose from I am not sure if it would give me a better price.

I also am looking for a good deal on cars from the 9th to the 27th of march. Do anyone have any suggestions. I am looking to get a Premium, luxury and SUV.

Your original message made me think that you weren't able to get those dates. Is it worthwhile to you to have to switch hotels?

If you're just looking for something different, the FOUR POINTS SHERATON MIAMI BEACH is available for all nite except the 25th for $159/nite.

Given the high prices, you may also want to re-consider a beach area for all of your stay... spring break can get kind of rowdy at some places and not be what you're looking for in a relaxing beachfront vacation (or maybe that is what you're looking for?)
