hedgehog Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 Any idea which 'best value' 4* boutique hotel in the Quincy Market/Financial District Hotwire are offering? Other amenities include restaurant fitness centre and business centre.
billyblaze Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I would guess Hotel Marlowe as this shows up as a 4Star boutique hotel with same amenities.
hedgehog Posted January 6, 2005 Author Report Posted January 6, 2005 hi billythanks for replying but i thought that the Hotel Marlowe was in Cambridge not the Quincy Market/Financial District area?
billyblaze Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 Other than area, it matches the description. I was just guessing.
hedgehog Posted January 6, 2005 Author Report Posted January 6, 2005 After consideration, my guess is probably The Onyx. However Expedia are currently offering it for a pre-pay rate of $119 including tax ...
thereuare Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 What about the QUINCY MARRIOTT which is available for your dates for $99/nite?The REVIEWS are excellent!Does that work for you? hedgehog Posted January 7, 2005 Author Report Posted January 7, 2005 Thank you thereuare but as we have such limited time in Boston, before we move on to NYC, I would rather pay the extra to be somewhere more central. The rates I have found on Expedia for the Omni Parker House and The Onyx ($132.50 and $119 respectively, inclusive of taxes) represent great value for a room for four. Thanks again.
billyblaze Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 I am not sure of your dates, but the Wyndham Boston has a great AAA and/or entertainment rate of $99.00 a night on weekends.
hedgehog Posted January 7, 2005 Author Report Posted January 7, 2005 Thanks again billy. We are travelling from the UK so no AAA membership i'm afraid. Our dates are 03/25 - 03/28. We really only have two full days and the morning of the 28th (when we plan to take the DuckTour as it's the first day tours reopen) which is why I am keen to stay downtown or thereabouts.
