Sutter Posted December 3, 2009 Report Share Posted December 3, 2009 Sorry for not posting this earlier. Got Doubletree Hotel near Miami Airport for $59 (plus tax/fees) a night, Oct. 14-15. Amenities listed were airport shuttle, restaurant, pool, fitness center, and high speed Internet. We had earlier gotten the Wyndham Miami Airport for $65, but had to cancel due to a serious illness in the family, and Hotwire quickly canceled the charge upon our faxing a letter from a doctor on his letterhead. We also contacted Priceline, about a reservation for later on, and they never replied (fortunately, the family member's condition improved enough that we were able to use that reservation).
