Please help me identify the following

dates 1/27/10 - 1/31/10

5* Gaslamp Quarter - Convention Center Hotel $ 169.00

4* Gaslamp Quarter - Convention Center Hotel $99.00 has pool

My husband has a conference at the Hyatt (of which I do not want to stay) need hotel within moderate walking distance

oops sorry

the amenities for the 4* are non smoking, fitness, pool, dining, and high speed internet access

the amenities for the 5* are the same except it lacks a pool

both are near Horton plaza.

The 5* has not yet been ID'd, but may be the US Grant. Still, the US Grant is $174.31 on Orbitz.com. If you use coupon code FABSAVE10, that gets an extra 10% off, which takes the price to $156 and change.

My guess for the 4* may be the Westin Gaslamp or the Hilton Bayfront.

The 5 star is the Union Grant, wish I knew about the Orbitz deal first, I was getting much higher rates elsewhere. A similar rate appeared on the US Grant website but the taxes brought it much past the hotwire rate

Can you please add a reply to this thread confirming the amenities shown before your purchase of this 5* hotel... were they: Smoke Free, Fitness, Restaurant, Business, Internet (which is different than what you had referenced above)

It would be appreciated if you used the requested PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on th board to begin your future travel purchases.
