Colfax Posted November 17, 2009 Report Share Posted November 17, 2009 I remember from another post that you like the Holiday Inn Civic Center better than Whitcomb, paperposter. PRICELINE just upgraded the HI-CC from 2.5* to 3* so you can avoid Whitcomb by bidding 3* now (although you could still win some other 3* besides HI-CC).I've always found the Whitcomb staff very accomodating about honoring requests on PRICELINE and HOTWIRE stays---e.g. 1 bed vs 2; a room overlooking Market Street vs a quieter room in back, etc. If you have any room issues speak up and they'll make you happy if they can.
