ambader Posted November 15, 2009 Report Posted November 15, 2009 Hi there - I need some help identifying either of the following hotels:Looking to book on Hotwire 11/19-11/22 in San Diego4.5 stars:Gaslamp Quarter - Convention Center HotelBoutique, Smoke-Free, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, Internet, SpaOR4 starsGaslamp Quarter - Convention Center HotelSmoke-Free, Fitness, Restaurant, InternetAny help would be much appreciated!! Thanks!!!
AaronJB Posted November 15, 2009 Report Posted November 15, 2009 Welcome to the site. :)The 4.5* has not yet been reported, but may be the SE San Diego with a new amenity set. The 4* would be a possible match for the Indigo. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links.
ambader Posted November 16, 2009 Author Report Posted November 16, 2009 Thanks!I actually did a new search after realizing that there are 3 of us, and we didn't want to get stuck with just a King bed, and here's what came up when searching for 3 people (all other parameters were the same i.e. date, location, etc...):4 stars, $115, 3 people.Gaslamp Quarter - Convention Center HotelBoutique, Smoke-Free, Fitness, Restaurant, InternetSound like anything in particular? Thanks!
yellowdog Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 4 stars, $115, 3 people.Gaslamp Quarter - Convention Center HotelBoutique, Smoke-Free, Fitness, Restaurant, InternetHotel Indigo has been reported with this amenitie combo. But it was last seen without Boutique icon. So it's a hard call, maybe it is the Indigo with the Boutique icon showing again. But it could also be a diffrent hotel. Sorry for the vague answer. If you decide to book this property so please post the outcome.Yellowdog.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
ambader Posted November 16, 2009 Author Report Posted November 16, 2009 Thanks so much... I'll definitely post if we end up using Hotwire to book...One more question... (Can you tell i've never used Hotwire before?)Would i be correct in assuming that since neither the 4.5 star hotel OR the original 4 star hotel results came up as a result when i searched for 3 people, that therefore those hotels only have rooms with just one King bed available? And it would be a bad idea to book one of those 2 results (at only $99 instead of $115) in the hopes of then calling the hotel to switch, running the risk of there being no rooms with 2 beds available? Pardon that terribly written question :) Thanks so much!
yellowdog Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 Sometimes can it be the same hotel with diffrent amenities and price. If you need to secure beds for 3 guests wouldn't i go with the 2 guest option. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase, and let us know how it goes.Yellowdog.
AaronJB Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 Another user in this Hotwire Purchase just confirmed the 4.5* is the SE.
