Hotwire Hotel: 4.5* San Diego (Gaslamp Quarter-Convention Center) Ivy Hotel

I'm new to this but have read a fair amount, enough to know that my request will likely be met with the reminder that on priceline you take your best shot and have to accept it. That said, I would like to stay at the Omni and avoid the Sheraton Harbor Island.

Any ideas?

Hey thanks! Checking on HOTWIRE, I see a 4* for $99 and a 4.5* for 119.

My hunch is that the Omni is the 4.5. What do you think? Or could it be the Hyatt?

The 4.5* property has not yet been reported 'as-is' but if i were to take a guess it might be the Ivy Hotel with a new set of amenities.

The 4* matches multiple properties... the Omni San Diego, Hotel Solamar, Westin Gaslamp, Hilton Gaslamp and Hilton Bayfront have all been seen with this amenity combination, so any of these would be among the likely possibilities.

BINGO ! It was the Ivy Hotel. When I tried to make a booking for 11/6-11.7 ( to extend one night) I got a 4.5* but WITHOUT the boutique classification for $169.00. ANy idea on that? ( seems high) I'm thinking of calling Ivy and asking for them to extend for one additional night. Any problem with that?
