MissJess Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Hi everyone. I've never actually used priceline or hotwire because I've always been afraid of what you can get until I found this board. I'm looking to surprise my boyfriend with a night in La Qunta CA, checking in tomorrow oct 25, 2009. so far, two hotels have come up one *** $42 a night, La Quinta, Indian Wellsresort, no smoking, gym, pool, business center, high speed internet access, restaurants and golf nearbythe other is ***1/2 for $59 a night in La quinta, Indian wells Boutique Hotelnon-smoking, pool, laundry facilities, high speed internet access, golf nearby, tennis nearby and kitchenette I'm also trying to book the la quinta resort off of hotwire or priceline but have no idea how to bid. the rate for the night is around 170 per night and then there's also a resort fee. He flew in today to surprise me so I'm now trying to surprise him and we spent our anniversary there last year and fell in love with the place. Please help!!
thereuare Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 The La Quinta Resort was last reported to the board as a 4* property thru HOTWIRE so neither of the above would likely be this property (nor is the price close to what that Reosrt would likely go for). As well, i'm not currently seeing the 3.5* you list above on HOTWIRE when searching for your dates. Is the La Quinta the only property you're interested in for this stay? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.PS- Happy Anniversary :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
MissJess Posted October 26, 2009 Author Report Posted October 26, 2009 Thank you for trying to help so quickly. It is the only place I'm interested in for sentimental reasons. Any hints for trying to get lucky with the property on PRICELINE? I hope I won't have to suck it up and pay rack rate thru the Hilton

Any hints for trying to get lucky with the property on PRICELINE?If this is the only hotel you're interested in i wouldn't bid on PRICELINE as you can very easily get something else... then how much would your 'savings' be worth? If you do end up booking direct please use our Hilton Link to make your purchase.
