warning: this property is ~1.5* IMO; dank uncomfortable decor, ripped hallway carpet;

on checkout, desk tried to charge $15 resort fee, I stated, "Do what you need to do

but I will dispute with Priceline & with VISA." He then decided not to add resort fee;

I called PRICELINE to report & was told there is clause in rules allowing resort fee charge;

I read rule & am unclear if resort fee needs to appear under "taxes & fees" when succesful

bid is first reported; am also unclear why any non-resort property can charge resort fee

when there is a specific category called "resort."

tip: desk said others using HOTWIRE were paying $19 + taxes + $15 resort fee... regards

Resort fees can be charged by the hotel and are paid directly to the hotel... these are in addition to the amount you pay PRICELINE.

I don't agree with mandatory resort fees (any mandatory fee should be included in the room rate), but these are hotel policy and independent to what PRICELINE chooses to rate the hotel.
