AinA Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 First bid, $42, 2 rooms. Wondering if I bid $45 we would have got the Double Tree? I hate this obsession of mine to get the lowest price. Aaaargh! Still a GREAT deal and my friends are very pleased, but, they don't travel much so they're easy ;-)AinA
thereuare Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Congratulations on your success!I'm sure your friends know the Holiday Inn brand and at under $50 are amazed at the price, so i'm sure they're quite pleased. As well, you coudl have just as easily bid $45 and still received the Holiday Inn (or some property other than the Doubletree :) )Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding.Hope your friends enjoy their stay. inspiration100 Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Please go being prepared that this hotel charges for parking (like most by the airport). I believe it will be between $10 and $15 a day. The Seattle hotel guy.... Stayed in 14 hotels downtown and counting! Favorite Hotel Downtown: The Camlin Seattle (It's now a timeshare)
