donduck1 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 I just won on PRICELINE, using betterbidding's link. My history on bids for a 3.5 star hotel is: $40, turned down, $45 turned down, $48 accepted - Crowne Plaza Hotel, dates are Nov 7-14, 2009. I have stayed at Hilton, Doubletree, and Hyatt thru priceline, this is a first for the Crowne. I know they have parking/resort fees, but so do all the others. Hope it is nice.
808geek Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 I've stayed there earlier this year during 4th of July weekend. I'm sure you will enjoy it. It's really no different than the Hyatt or Hilton. Well to me it isn't anyway. I posted my review of the property if you want to read about it. I did it here under the hotel reviews and on TripAdvisor's website as well. If you are able to upon check in request a room on the 8th or 9th floor. It's the quiet zone and those rooms have refrig's that you don't get charged for. I did that when I stayed. Oh and walk through the back by the pool to enter from the back parking lot so you don't have to walk all the way around to the front.Enjoy your stay.

We are parking, so I'll try the way in you described. :)
