Priceline Hotel: 3.5* NYC (Downtown-Soho-Financial) Club Quarters Downtown

Hello,

Used the PRICELINE link on this site to bid for a stay in NYC from 11/27 - 11/30 to attend a wedding.

There are two receptions for the wedding on separate days, and the more private reception is a train ride upstate, but it is in the afternoon. Since the dinner reception is in Chinatown, I was looking for something in the Soho, Chelsea, ESB, or MSG area.

I didn't want to pay too much, but I started out looking for a 4* hotel with the re-bid zone tips, then for a 3 1/2* hotel, and finally for a 3* hotel.

For the 3* bids, I did the following:

1) $120 - Soho

2) $128 - added ESB

3) $135 - added Chelsea

4) $140 - added MSG

Finally had a bid accepted for $140 and got the 3.5* Club Quarters Downtown. The cheapest room for this hotel is going for about $200/night through other sites, so I appreciate the savings.
