paolani Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 I am looking for acommodations for 10/14 to 10/17. I am surprised by the extremly expensive rates I'm getting everywhere (HOTWIRE, Expedia, etc). If I took the 10/14 night out of the search in HOTWIRE I get more hotels and better rates, is something going on there at 10/14? I'm willing to pay around $100, is that possible? Do you have any recomendations?Besides I'm with a car so I need parking and I've read is extremly expensive in SF, any advice on that? Thanks
thereuare Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Which zone(s) and star rating are you seeking?I haven't looked to see the rate differential between your first nite and the last two nites, but is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. tmynatt Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 I've found the exact same thing to be true because those are also my exact dates. I finally just gave up and went to KAYAK and booked a hotel sight seen at a very good price. Hotel Baldwin.

thereuare Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 Unfortuantely this property has not yet been identified or reported to the board, and there are dozens of budget properties in this zone to make an educated guess, perhaps somebody local to the area may have some additional insight. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us what you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. paolani Posted September 25, 2009 Author Report Posted September 25, 2009 Could it be the Comfort Inn by the bay? I'm guessing because of Tripadvisor ratings...
Colfax Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 The TripAdvisor stats (4 out of 5) match Comfort Inn by the Bay. But the Chelsea Motor Inn and Coventry Motor Inn are also in that zone and rated 4/5. It could be any of those three, or something else.Have your travel dates changed, paolani? Your subject line says 10/14-10/17 (3 nights) but your HOTWIRE search was just for 2 nights.
