Priceline Hotel: Failed Bids Downtown SF 9/11-9/13

For any last minute bidders trying to win downtown SF this weekend...

Today these PRICELINE bids were rejected for 9/11-9/13 (Fri and Sat nites):

$100/4* - USW, USE, SOMA, Embarcadero

$100/3.5* - all four zones

$80/3* - all four zones

Rates are high (Palace $329, Westin St Francis $299).

HOTWIRE has nothing 4*. Just 3.5*/USE for $249 and a 3.5*/USW for $244. There's a 2* in Civic Center South for $156!

I'm going to delay the trip.

Checking the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins I see NO WINS reported for this weekend in any Downtown zones at any quality level. That's unusual.
