Sunriser Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Hi, i was looking around to see if some other people got a chance to get a hotel for a good price around my travel dates (Sep. 23th to Sep 30th)... Unfortunaly i had no luck until today (was bidding up to 105 USD for USE,USW,Financial District, Fisherman's Wharf etc.)I just tried to split it this way and got sucessful with a price of $77 for the Mariott Fisherman's Wharf for the split date of 27th to 29th of September.Going to see what i can get for 23th to 27th..Thanks for this great forum.

Colfax Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Do you know about Priceline's Add a Night feature, Sunriser? On your acceptance page there's a link allowing you to add nights at the same hotel, if they're available. You can't add more nights than were in your original accepted bid. Since you won two nights you can try Add a Night for one or two nights more at the Marriott, if you want.
Sunriser Posted September 2, 2009 Author Report Posted September 2, 2009 Hi Colfax, thank you.Yes i know that feature and saw it on another stay for 1 night..however, on this bid it doesn't show up, i am staying 3 nights, sorry it should be from 27th to30th !!Can a moderator change it for 27th to 30th on the header? I guess i was too excited after getting that unexpected bid since i was bidding for a week now :)Thanks...
Sunriser Posted September 2, 2009 Author Report Posted September 2, 2009 Just bid over your PRICELINE link $44 for a 4*, got rejected and rebid with including USE $55 which i was accepted immediately.Got the Hyatt Regency SFO Airport Hotel.. (got also the offer to extend the stay for one more night for the same price)..
yellowdog Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Congratulations on your success!Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding :) Enjoy your stay.Yellowdog.PS. Thanx for the additional post!

I'm under the impression Priceline includes a link to Add a Night with all accepted bids now...even when the extra nights aren't available.I'd check your acceptance page one more time, unless you'd rather stay someplace other than Marriott.

They are not able to make this booking on your behalf. So no chance for me i guess..but yes, you were right...
