WillTravel Posted May 1, 2003 Report Posted May 1, 2003 http://www.smarterliving.com/air/deal.php?id=4956From the newsletter I got today:Fly to Europe with a free London stopover and hotel stay British Airways is offering a triple whammy on spring and summer flights to Europe: low airfares from $318 round-trip, a free stopover in London, and two free nights in a London hotel. Travel is valid through September 24, with the lowest fares available from now through June 18. Book tickets at least seven days in advance, and by Thursday, May 8. Virgin Atlantic has matched the airfare portion of this sale for flights to London only, for travel through June 18.British Airways' complimentary hotel stays are valid in two- to four-star hotels in London, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Hotel stays are valid for up to two nights for double occupancy and one night for single occupancy. Additional nights will be available for regular rates, subject to availability. The following hotels are participating in the complimentary stay offer: Royal National, St. Giles, Plaza on Hyde Park, Thistle Islington, Thistle Kensington Palace, Cumberland, Gresham Hyde Park, Thistle Kensington Gardens, Thistle Lancaster Gate, and Kensington Close. . . .Lots of times these "deals" don't turn out to be so great, given the restrictions and given how cheaply you can get a London hotel on Priceline. BA is rarely the cheapest carrier, in my limited experience. But it might be worth considering.
