I see the web rate per night is 279.00 so you did great. Was the 105.00 your first bid? We stay at the Sheraton in May and found the location was perfect for us. You will see on trip advisor that there is much said about the beds. If you like soft,, then you will be very happy. For us,, they were too soft and I ended up sleeping across the foot of the bed for some support on my back. We loved our room as it was a corner so had extra windows but if were going to stay 2 nights, I would have had to request a different room because of the bed. Enjoy your stay and thank you for posting your win.

Congratulations on your success and thank you for sharing your results with the board.

Hope you're happy with the results and this works well for your plans. As I've noted to other winners of this property, I highly recommend Fox and Obel (fox-obel.com), which is a combo cafe/gourmet market about a block or so East of this hotel on the corner of Illinois and McClurg.

Enjoy your stay.

Yes, I wasn't too aggressive because one of the biggest trade shows is there at that time (which I'm attending). I had reservations for 249 somewhere else so I just went in at 105 and was pleasantly surprised.

Excellent. Additionally, there's a major grocery store essentially on the opposite corner (Dominicks), which is also a cheaper place for snacks/drinks than in the hotel.
