NICKD Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 I GOT A GREAT RATE FROM PRICELINE FOR A STAY IN BOSTON IN THE WATERFRONT AREA 4* 100.00 PER NIGHT. BUT MY WIFE THINKS IT IS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE AND DOES NOT WANT TO BOOK IT NOT KNOWING THE EXACT LOCATION CAN ANY ONE HELP ME CONVINCE HER?
dahammer Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 PLEASE DON'T TYPE IN ALL UPPERCASEdid you already bid and win a 4* hotel for $100? What are your dates of travel and what is the name of the hotel that you won?
thereuare Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 I think this is the issue...NICKD, you have entered all your infromation and are now looking at the screen to confirm all the details you're about to submit where PRICELINE asks that you review all the information. This bid has not been submitted yet and it is unknown if your $100 bid will be accepted or not.. it's simply a 'review' page to make sure all the information is correct before submitting. At the bottom of the page is a 'buy my hotel room' button which will then see if PRICELINE can find you a room for $100/nite, and if so, you'll then be told the name of the hotel and committed to it.Is my assessment correct... are you still looking at the 'review' page with the "Buy My Hotel Room" button at the bottom? (and have not yet submitted the bid)What are the dates of your stay? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
