Canadian using Hotwire

I'm new to this site, and didn't know where to post this question/ couldn't find anything in search.

I'm thinking of using HOTWIRE (maybe PRICELINE) to book a hotel in Chicago.

Can I use a Canadian Visa to book?

If I book as 2 adults and no children (since our baby is under 2) will this cause a problem when we show up with a baby?

Do you find out hotel the same day you book hotel?

If anyone can help that would be great.

Welcome to the site.

I believe there shouldn't be any problem with HOTWIRE, but this thread will provide further details regarding PRICELINE and non-US bidders.

With HOTWIRE and PRICELINE, when you purchase, you find out the hotel. With PRICELINE, your bid may be rejected, but if it is accepted, you will find out the hotel name then & there.

If you book with 2/0 (2 adults only) on HOTWIRE, I'd strongly doubt there would be a problem, since the child is under 2.

Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links, and certainly please do ask any questions that you may have (both about Chicago or PRICELINE/HOTWIRE.)
