I tried Add a Night for 8/25 and was rejected without counteroffer.

Humphrey's best rate was $109 on 8/24 and the hotel shows sold out on 8/25, the day I tried to add.

I really liked this hotel. It's on Shelter Island, a scenic area surrounded by water and marinas. Good area for walking with many yacht brokers and seafood restaurants nearby. Great views of downtown San Diego from Shelter Island. I got a room with king bed and private patio overlooking the pool.

Parking is $10/night. Internet $9.95/day. I used both, but at checkout the clerk said "No charges. Zero balance". If I don't get a delayed charge for $19.95 in a couple weeks I'll be appreciating Humphrey's Half Moon even more!

Btw, in the San Diego Hotel List the 3* Dana on Mission Hotel (which has the same owners as Humphrey's Half Moon) is listed in the Point Loma-Shelter Island-Old Town zone. The Dana is actually in the Coastal zone.

Thanks. That property was actually listed twice under both zones (i think it used to be in the Point Loma zone from before there was a Coastal zone)... but we've removed it so it's now only listed under "Coastal".
