Hi, I'm new here, and I've never used Priceline or Hotwire. I've read a bunch over here tho! I've decided to try and use Hotwire so I stand a better chance of getting a certain hotel. I would like to stay at the Doubletree Del Mar in San Diego, as they are having a conference I'll be attending Sept 10-13. I entered 2 adults and 1 child, staying fri 9/11 thru sunday 9/13.

A 3* hotel in Del Mar for $84 per night w/these amenities is the only Del Mar area hotel coming up:

3-star hotel in Del Mar - Rancho Santa Fe

This hotel features the following amenities:

Fitness Center

Guests have access to exercise equipment; an additional charge may apply.

Pool(s)

Property offers at least one pool area; hours and dates of operation may be seasonal.

Restaurant(s)

Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises; hours and days of operation may vary.

Business Center

Guests have access to business equipment and services; an additional charge may apply.

High-speed Internet Access

--This sounds like the Double tree, as the only other 3* Del Mar hotel I found on the Hotwire list has tennis and golf.

Am I safe assuming this is the Double tree?? Thanx in advance for your help.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

I can't get the same hotel to appear on my search. Can you please run a new search and confirm that you still can see this hotel on your search.

Dang it, you all are right--there is nothing in Del Mar right now...I waited too long. Guess I'll be staying somewhere else! Thanx for the help, tho.

You might like Solana Beach or La Jolla? Some places could be a resort.
