First bid of $55.00 was accepted for the Hyatt Regency in Buffalo. There are two free re-bid zones which I did not use (should have started lower) but all in all, a good deal. Website price was $139.00

Always a bit nerve-racking on those same day bids... dont' want to bid too high off the bat, but also don't want to be penny-wise and dollar foolish and getting locked out of a Priceline opportunity.

Glad you were successful and it looks like you did much better than the hotel's rate.
