Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* Spokane DT..............Question?

Used PRICELINE a few times, 1st time here.

Need another room in the same hotel I booked thru Priceline.

Spokane (Downtown)

3.5* Red Lion at the Park

Amenities: Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Golf, Tennis

This what I want, and it shows as the only DT Spokane 3.5* hotel. (In the Hotwire list here)

Have I got this right.

I cruised thru most of the recent posts and found this from Tilepusher in February

The 3.5* star rating seems high for a Red Lion, but that's also the hotel's rating on Expedia. And the TA information (3.0 rating, 20+ reviews, last review December 2008) is consistent with the Red Lion

Unless anyone knows of changes I might give it a shot.

Don't want different hotels for two golf foursomes.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is always the chance you will get the Double Tree. It is an easy walk right accross the river.

The Doubletree is rated 3* on Hotwire's vacation packages. What dates are you booking for?

Definately want Red Lion at the Park.

Dates Sept 10 -Sept 13 (3 nights)

An extra group added, so we would obviously like to be in same hotel.

The Hotwire thread shows 3.5* as "i think" Lion at the Park??

Will go thru here as usual if it sounds like the right place.

I can't see the hotel name either, but i do think this is the Red Lion Hotel At The Park and that would be my best guess. Besides the amenities, the Tripadvisor information is consistent as well.

One more quick question before I take a stab at this.

If I book one night (Sept 10th) and get The Red Lion at the Park............do they have an extend your stay function ala PRICELINE?? I have seen this in Priceline before but I'm a rookie here.

No, HOTWIRE does not have an "add a nite" feature.

Before you make a one nite purchase, i would also search HOTWIRE for the balance of your stay as well to see if the same hotel (based upon the amenities and any other info is provided) is offered for each leg of your stay. (you don't want to make one purchase only to find out that the same hotel isn't available when searching for the remaining nites :) )

Looked at this a lot and it SURE looks like The Red Lion at the Park.

The only successful bid got it.

Maybe try this evening when I am fortified. lol

$45.....the front desk gave us a room off in the business wing at their suggestion as it was 4 guyz golfing.
