Trying to get Holiday Inn near stadium in Philadelphia for 8/20/09 - 8/21/09 (one night)

Three hotels popped up on Hotwire:

$54 - 3-star hotel in Philadelphia Intl Airport PHL - Stadium Area Airport Shuttle / Fitness / Restaurant / Laundry

$54 - 2.5-star hotel in Philadelphia Intl Airport PHL - Stadium Area Airport Shuttle / Fitness / Pool / Restaurant / High Speed

$59 - 2-star hotel in Philadelphia Intl Airport PHL - Stadium Area Airport Shuttle / Complimentary Breakfast / Fitness / High speed

Hotel's official website lists amenities as: Fitness, Self LAundry, Business Services, pool, free wireless. rate for the night is $120 - 219.

My initial guess would be the 2.5 star hotel, since its the only one with a pool, but Hotwire gives Holiday Inns a 3 start rating. Any ideas?

Welcome to the site. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear as if this property is showing on HOTWIRE for these dates - not all hotels always appear on the service.

The 3* has a different tripadvisor rating than the HI, as does the 2.5*.

The 3* looks to be the Four Points, while the 2.5* might be the Quality Inn.

The Phillies are playing the Diamondbacks on 8/20, so the Holiday Inn will likely sell out without having to discount its rooms through HOTWIRE. I assume you are going to a game or maybe a show at the Wachovia Center, there is really no other reason to stay at this property. If you are going the sports complex, I would consider staying in the Center City zone and taking the Broad Street Subway.
