whitethunder Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 Well after my gigantic other thread about finding a room in LA, and I really do appreciate the assistance/advice, I finally got pricline to accept my offer and I am set.I initially wanted 8/21 to 8/25 but it was really frustrating me not to win anything so I won the night of 8/24 in a seperate bid at this same hotel for 68 bucks, with tax $85.29.I now just won the same hollywood heights hotel for 89 a night for 8/21, 8/22, and 8/23, the other 3 nights of my stay. I have been steadily increasing starting at 80 bucks a night by a dollar for the past few days until it finally accepted 89 bucks, it denied 88, so I know 89 was the lowest it could of possibly have taken. I guess I am cool with that as hotwire is 99 and Expedia was 107. Total with tax for these 3 nights on this reservation was $315.42. So total for all 4 nights, on 2 seperate reservations with tax, after weeks of bidding, lol, was $400.71. (100 bucks all-in per night not too bad...) Both reservations were made using the PRICELINE link from the forum here.Again, thanks for the assistance all !!cheers :)
