Better Bidding has really helped me with hotels. Thank you.

I'll need a car mid-size (or full) for my wife & I.

Get in Sunday the 5th and return early on the 11th. Any idea

how I might start bidding.

Thanks,

td

First, you'll want to see what you can get conventionally to know that you are getting a good deal on priceline.

Try Mousesavers which has a wealth of information about Orlando, Disney and has a section on Rental Cars. After trying a few sites to see what kind of prices you can get with various codes, then you'll be ready to bid.

We were successful for a compact in Orlando at $15 a day last May/June for a weekly rental. (may 30 to june 5). The total with fees, etc. was $148. However, conventionally, it was going to be $200 even with all discounts we could find. We got National, which worked just fine, and was at the airport, etc.

One week, I had bid $15 for a compact & $17 for midsize and was rejected. Then, the following week, my husband bid $12 for economy and $15 for compact and was accepted.

Incidentally, I've read that Orlando has the busiest rental car market in the entire world.
