Deemo Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 We are going back to San Diego and I tought I would give Priceline a whirl.I have a general strategy thanks to the great info here.I was wondering if I am screwing myself by choosing a Wednesday to Saturday interval stay price wise as the rates are usually higher on the weekend.Should I bid Wed & Thurs and then Friday as a diferent bid?Or is the accepted bid blended?
AaronJB Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 Please provide dates so we can see the situation with rates on the dates in question...Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.

AaronJB Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 You cannot guarantee a particular hotel via PRICELINE, and that poster got that hotel for different dates. What would be your max budget per night?
Deemo Posted July 22, 2009 Author Report Posted July 22, 2009 Well I bailed at $141 for Coastal 4* and got squat so I guess it is around that level. :)
