This matches the previously reported Hyatt Regency La Jolla. so that would be my best guess.

Thanks for the info, the family is now considering staying in Carlsbad (now for 2 days, 08/18 & 19). With information from this site I think I'm going to shoot for the La Costa resort. I've seen others get rates for around $130. I'm seeing them alot higher (around $300) for my dates, but as they get closer it seems to be dropping (now around $200). I'll let you know how it goes and will definitely use the HOTWIRE link from this site. Thanks!

The rate for La Costa actually started increasing for the 18th and 19th (now $226). I ended up booking at the Carlsbad Hampton Inn for the 18th ($145 using their website) and at the Anaheim Crowne Plaza ($60 using the HOTWIRE link from this site, posted in another thread). Thanks for all the help.
