jmk Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 This is my first post. I travel often, but have never used a bidding service before. I read about people getting hotel rooms for very low prices from Hotwire and Priceline at Flyertalk.com, and decided to give it a try. People also talked about this site, and with help I got from this site I made a bid at Priceline for a LAX airport hotel 4* at $50. To my surprise my first bid was accepted and I got the Westin. :) I needed another night on 11/1/2004 and made another bid for the same hotel at the same price, but got rejected. So I decided to bid a 3* hotel at the LAX airport for $35. That also got rejected. I kept the price the same but dropped down to a 2.5* and got Courtyard by Mariott. :) Their web site shows the lowest rate at $149. What a deal. Thanks for this great web site. I will be using it regularly for my future travels.

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
