started bidding at the 3* level at $48, then increased to $54 in hopes of getting the Courtyard or Residence Inn.....no dice! I went down to a 2.5* and bid $51 and was accepted immediately.

for dinner, I decided to do take out at Portugal Barbecue on Clark Place, just a short drive from the Country Inn and Suites. Ordered one of the specials of the night, a Mixed Grill that consisted of a piece of Sirloin Steak, Pork Chop, Chicken, and Sausage with steamed Veggies and Rice, enough for 3 and a bargain at $16.
