CatherineEmily19 Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 I used the the BetterBidding PRICELINE link.Radisson Hotel Los Angeles Westside6161 Centenela AvenueCulver City, CA 90230310-649-1776Check-In: Friday, June 26, 2009Check-Out: Saturday, June 27, 2009Bid#1 $48 - Downtown L.A.#2 $51 - Added Lawndale#3 $53 - Added Hollywood#4 $57 - Changed dates#5 $60 - Added 3* (Originally was 3.5*)#6 $62 - Added Culver City (desperate act, yet again) Accepted! :) haha I need to stay 2 nights but changed the dates so that I could bid again and only hoped that they would offer me the chance to add another night to my stay. They did but now I don't know if I want to stay another night at the Radisson or try to bid again on another night for down town L.A. It's the Electric Daisy Carnival that weekend...so I don't know if I would be able to. Should I try anyway, or book another night at the Radisson? Thanks in advance. thereuare Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Congratulations on your success!I dont' know much about this property vs. the other offerings in the area, so you'll have to weigh the alternative properties vs. the 'inconvenience' of possibly changing hotels. Two things to note:-you did win this on your last bid so there is a chance you could bid again and win it for less (or win a different hotel)-even though PRICELINE offered the 'add a nite' option, there is no guarantee that you will be successful in doing so. Inventory can chance since they offered, and more importantly, they don't know which nite you'll try to add... the nite before or the nite after, there could be availability for one but not the other.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding.Let us know what you decide to do or if we can be of further help. Colfax Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 now I don't know if I want to stay another night at the Radisson or try to bid again on another night for down town L.A.I can't say where you should stay but if you prefer Downtown you can bid up to $62 there first, then if you don't succeed bid for Culver City after.
